Oxbow Mining received approval to begin their exploration drilling on November 2nd, 2012. The exploration drilling is proceeding 24 hours per day with a 10 on 4 off schedule and is planned to continue through the winter months. Lights that can be seen on Oak Mesa are associated with these exploration drilling activities. Lighting of the work area is required to provide a safe work environment, however, all efforts will be made to direct the lighting away from the valley and the neighboring Mesa’s.
